Self-adhesive label material storage suggestion

Many customers complain about label flying during die-cutting and label lifting every winter, while no issues occur in other seasons.

Some also complain about damaged cores. Upon checking, we find they were stored horizontally.

In fact, many problems are caused by improper storage conditions.

Here are the proper storage conditions and recommendations for self-adhesive label materials,hope it can help you:

1.Store indoors in a cool, dark area away from direct sunlight.

2.Maintain a storage temperature of 23℃±2℃ and relative humidity of around 50%RH.

1)Excessive heat or dryness causes the material to lose moisture and curl, and adhesive becomes more fluid, resulting in bleeding.

2)If materials are stored at excessively low temperatures, adhesive freezing will occur, reducing adhesion and causing die-cutting issues such as label flying.In winter, we recommend placing the materials at around 23℃ for 24 hours before use to restore adhesive performance.

3)Excess humidity leads to moisture absorption and curling.

3.Always store rolls vertically, not horizontally, to avoid core crushing and deformation.

4.Use opened rolls in one run if possible. Any remaining material must be tightly re-wrapped in plastic packaging and used promptly.

5.The shelf life from production to application should not exceed 1 year.
