If a self-adhesive label material TDS seems ok, does it mean the product fully meets your needs?

Not exactly.

One of our customers required freezer-grade adhesive for chicken, milk, and other low-temperature products.Their previous supplier’s material worked fine for labeling, but caused flying labels during die-cutting. Surprisingly, their TDS looked almost identical to ours.

After checking our customer production line, we found the real issue:waste was not removed immediately after the blade, and waste and labels went through multiple rollers under pressure before final waste stripping.We recommended a slightly firmer adhesive — and the flying label problem was completely solved.

Here’s the truth:TDS often does not show all information about glue hardness, silicone coating weight and adhesive coating weight.Every client machine is also different.
