This is because the label paper absorbs or loses water. If the temperature is too high and the air is too dry, the self-adhesive will curl up in the direction of the facestock; conversely, if the air is too wet, the self-adhesive will curl up in the direction of the bottom paper.
To avoid similar situations, we need to do the following:
1. The self-adhesive label materials need to be stored away from sunshine, the temperature should be controlled at around 20°C, and the humidity should be controlled at around 50%.
2. If the storage environment is suitable, or only a small quantity of self-adhesive label materials curl up,this is because the self-adhesive label material manufacturer does not control well the humidity of the paper during producing,this is a technical problem,we recommend to change to a reliable factory.
